it was held at Bartholomew Barn in Kirdford

its such a pretty venue - one of our favourites it has to be said

luckily we know a man with a very long ladder

who had the honour of hanging the balls

kilner jars & english summer flowers

these lovely kilner jars were to be used as the table centres

for a wedding at the weekend

the window sills at the walled garden

were then decorated with masses of bottles & jars

in all shapes and sizes

which the groom had collected

from when he was a little boy

you will have to wait for the pictures to come from the photographer,

 it will be worth the wait

set the scene for lisa's wedding last weekend

mixing rose ivanhoe, naomi, red sensation 

with rosa glauca & jamine

black mint & muehlenbeckia

it was a botanical masterpiece

the church was filled with scented white roses

honeysuckle & jasmine

hydrangeas & cow parsley

perfect for a country wedding

sugar and spice and all things nice

 upwaltham barns was the setting for this special wedding

the bride looked beautiful - the bridesmaids were busy with their designated job
