lilac & lime

When Julia saw the picture of an all lilac freesia bouquet in a
copy of Wedding Flowers several years ago,
she new that that was what she wanted for her bouquet.

So Matthew and team set about making the posies
& table arrangements
& then decorated the font - as you do -
with scented stocks & freesias
roses & lilac
solomon seal & lissianthus.

the scent was heavenly

spring meets summer

delicate white ranunculus

meets

scented sweet peas

Caroline certainly had a beautiful day for her wedding at The Walled Garden in Cowdray.
The sun shone.  A gentle breeze rather than a gale.  Champagne & Canapes.
What more could you want?

Petworth House & the wedding we did...

have you been watching the series on BBC4 - The Big Spring Clean its been very interesting.  We are pleased to know that the staff are nice &busy through the winter months.

a couple of years ago we did a wedding at the house - it was rather a grand do -
with lilies grown by the head gardener Jonathan and foliages from our orchard,

the arrangements were rather splendid

please excuse the photography -
these were shot long before I discovered my little nikon

lily of the valley, tulips and ranunculus

a couple of weekends ago we did rather a beautiful wedding

our bride requested flowers that grew in her grandfathers garden
in shades of green with just a touch of white

the perfume was heavenly

with lily of the valley from Yvonne's garden, foliages from Matthew's
and viburnum from the orchard it really did have a garden feel

the flowers on the table were just as special
